The iDidaPhoto Contest is a photo contest for the iDidaContest. Here students from across the state of Alaska can submit up to three photos with one of three themes including Tells a Story, Alaska Life, Digitally Enhanced. Submissions are to be made as an upload.
No limit on size. Should not contain a watermark or artist name on photo.
Each person can submit up to 3 images in total and must relate to one of the themes listed above.
Students can submit free with an ASTE Member sponsor. Adults entering the contest must be ASTE Members.

The iDidaMovie Contest is the flagship contest for the iDidaContest. Here students from across the state of Alaska can submit up to three movies with one of five themes, including Teach Us Something, Tell Us a Story, Make Us Laugh, a Social Studies themed movie, and an Indigenous Language film.Submissions are to be made as a url link.
- Submissions must be under 2 minutes and rated PG without any copyrighted materials.
- Limited to 3 entries per person.
Entries for the Indigenous Language category must include:
- Fifty percent or more of the spoken dialogue is in an Alaskan native language.
- English subtitles

iDidaMovie Rubric
Welcome Alaskan students to the iDida-AI contest! This is where you can showcase projects created with AI (Artificial Intelligence.) You can submit things like artwork, music, coding projects, or any other creations you can imagine!
This contest has one category: "Amaze Us!" We are eager to see the creative and innovative projects you come up with!
- You may submit up to three projects.
- For each project, please submit the actual project file (such as an image or video) along with either a short video (1-3 minutes) or a one-page write-up that explains how you used AI to create it. If your project is something like a computer program, you'll need to create a video that demonstrates how it operates.

iDida-Art Guidelines
Welcome Alaskan students and teachers to the iDida-Art contest! This is where you can showcase digitally created art projects.
Eligibility: Open to students from across Alaska. Adult entrants are required to be ASTE Members.
Submissions:
- Participants can submit up to three pieces of original digital artwork.
- The overarching theme for submissions is 'Amaze Us.'
- All artwork must be created using digital software and/or hardware tools. Traditional art mediums such as canvas or paper are not applicable for this contest.
- Submissions cannot be AI-generated or enhanced. (Please see iDida-AI contest for these entries.)
Explanation Requirement: Along with the digital artwork, participants should provide:
- A short write-up OR
- A video detailing how they utilized digital tools to bring their project to life.
Participation Fee:
- Students may participate at no cost if sponsored by an ASTE Member.
- Adult entrants must be ASTE Members.

The tunes must not exceed 2 minutes. You can upload up to three music files for this contest.

The iDida-Audio Contest is a contest for ASTE's iDidaContest. Here students from across the state of Alaska can submit up to three audio files with one of three themes including Public Service Announcement, Teach Us Something, and a Social Studies Themed Podcast.
Submissions are to be made as an uploaded audio file.
Files in the PSA and Teach Us Something categories must not exceed 2 minutes and be copyright free.
Social Studies Themed Podcast must not exceed 10 minutes and be copyright free.
